Anthropic announced Enterprise Frontier Safeguards, Google previewed agent anomaly detection, and Anthropic/Accenture announced embedded evaluation of frontier AI.

The hard enterprise questions are increasingly who the agent is, what it can see, which tools it can call, what normal behavior looks like, what gets logged, and how risk is re-evaluated as models change.

A mid-market control plane can be composed from identity, API/MCP gateways, data permissions, evaluation suites, tracing, policy enforcement and human approvals. It does not need to be one monolithic product.

Build controls that are reusable across workflows. The strategic asset is the ability to adopt better models quickly without renegotiating trust and permissions from scratch each time.
